Normal Sudoku rules apply. Digits along (fast) thermometers must increase by at least 2 at a time, starting from the bulb end. The large colored ring is made of 5 normal thermometers glued tip-to-bulb (2 in the example). Travelling clockwise around it, digits must strictly increase, with no more than 5 exceptions.

After solving your Border Sum Pentominous, this puzzle actually seemed quite chill. I really enjoyed finding the beautiful break-in of this puzzle and it has several very cool and clever deductions throughout the solve. Thank you for constructing this beauty, Gliperal!

What a neat puzzle! Ridiculously cool opening trick finding what was initially restricted. And those fast thermos are a gift that keeps on giving to finally resolve things. Also, fjam gave me some help especially in the mid-solve - there is so much cool logic in this puzzle that I wasn't always on top of pencilmarking the ramifications of things I had figured out. Fascinating and fun from start to finish - thank you so much for sharing this!

A rare puzzle where I have absolutely no idea how the creator even began to have the idea. What an insanely unique break in! (…followed by an extremely challenging thermo sudoku)
