This is probably my hardest puzzle yet, and also one of my favorites. The break-in is quite challenging but no advanced techniques are required, only some clever observations. I hope you will enjoy the logic as much as I did!
Solution code: Row 5 (from left to right) then column 7 (from top to bottom)

Enjoyed that one a lot, particularly the opening. I can feel that this puzzle was a turning point in your setting ”learning curve”. Seems like your style is really emerging in this one.

Some very tight logic, enjoyed this. Would be interested to see the intended break-in as I'm sure I was along the right lines, but I had a nagging feeling that I was missing a more elegant way of cracking it.
-- Thank you @StephenR!

Definitely not a bad old puzzle at all. The break in logic was excellent.

Very clever construction, lovely logic!
-- Thank you @Vebby! I admire you a lot for going through all of my bad old puzzles, and many other setters for that matter, but I promise that the second half is a lot nicer!
@Agent: Thank you! Not bad at all, I've had a great time and look forward to your brilliant recent catalogue :D

Added an additional clue to the puzzle since one of the steps was unfair. Also increased the difficulty to 5 stars.
