Direction (Unique Arrow Sudoku)

(Published on 14. April 2022, 20:53 by purpl)

I took some inspiration from zetamath's Distinction. I know a lot of people have sort of done this idea now, but I wanted to make a fun puzzle and this ruleset seemed fun. One version of this idea I saw was from AFrayedKnot's Friendly Fire which isn't on LMD, so I linked its Penpa+ page, but you can find other platforms for solving it in the CtC Discord archive index [6118]. You can find more of my "fun arrow puzzles" in the blurb at the top of this puzzle: Harmony. Hope you enjoy this puzzle and the ones I listed above!

Rules:

Normal Sudoku rules apply.

Along arrows digits sum to the digit in that arrow's circle.

Additionally, all arrows contain a distinct set of digits. This includes arrows which share a circle.

For example, if the arrow in r9c3 had 2+4=6 on it then the arrow in r4c7 could be 1+5=6 but could not be another 2+4=6 arrow.

Changed difficulty from easy to average after getting feedback and remembering a couple steps that are more 3/5 than 2/5 steps. OOPS
