Suguru Chaos Deconstruction: Solo Little Killers

(Published on 10. April 2022, 21:17 by crispy16)

This puzzle is inspired by the excellent Suguru Chaos Deconstruction series by mathpesto. You should absolutely check out their puzzles here.

Rules:

Deconstructed Suguru: Fill some cells in the grid with the digits 1–9 such that no digit repeats in a row or column. All digits must belong to a region (a collection of orthogonally connected cells), and a region of size n contains the digits 1 through n once each. Regions may not touch each other orthogonally, although they may touch each other diagonally.

Digits cannot repeat along either of the marked main diagonals. All cells in cages must contain a digit, and they must sum to the given total.

Little Killer clues outside the grid indicate the sum of all digits in non-empty cells along the indicated diagonal. Digits may repeat on these diagonals if allowed by other rules.

For each diagonal (main or little killer), all non-empty cells on that diagonal belong to different regions.
