To all, The 4 unique powers of 2 that are 1 digit are 1, 2, 4, and 8. These numbers are to be placed, once each, below the 4 letter "B" (in the white squares in the colored puzzle).

What is meant by 'unique powers of 2'? Do the two cells connected by the B add to a power of 2, or do they form a power of 2, read from top to bottom (or the other way around)?
