Chaos Construction: 2nd Region X-Sums #1 (8x8)

Rules
1. Divide the grid into regions, each consisting of eight orthogonally connected cells.
2. Each row, column and region must contain the digits 1 to 8 once each.
3. For any clue outside the grid (number or question-mark):
- Let X be the first digit in the second region, seen from the direction of the clue
- Then that region occupies exactly X consecutive cells within the respective row or column, before the next boundary (or the end of the grid)
- Further, the outside clue corresponds to the sum of the digits in those X cells
4. A black diamond inside the grid denotes that the 4 digits surrounding it form a Renban group (i.e. they are non-repeating consecutive digits, in any order). All such black diamonds are given.

Much easier than the 9x9 version, but still an amazing construction ! The potential of this ruleset is really incredible. Would love to see more of these.

Lovely stuff, thanks. Particularly sweet solving this as I thought I had broken the puzzle and backtracked before realising I had overlooked an obvious possibility.

Fantastic puzzle with very interesting concept! Certain points during mid solve caused me some troubles but I made it to the end, lovely logics all over the place :)
