Clues outside the grid are X-Snake sums. X-Snakes are basically bendy X-Sums: orthogonally connected 1-cell-wide paths that begin in the cell next to the clue (the "tail" cell).
X-Snakes are X cells long, where X is the digit in the tail cell, and sum to the value of the clue without repeating any digits. X-Snakes may not touch themselves OR ANY OTHER SNAKE orthogonally.
The snakes are racing to the grey rock in the center of the pit. Exactly one cell of exactly one snake must touch the rock orthogonally or diagonally to win the race (i.e. there is only one snake cell in box 5). Snakes don't eat rocks, so neither the rock cell nor its digit may appear in any snake.

Great puzzle! Very surprised it only has three stars for difficulty. I must have missed an important inference because this took a LOT of difficult inferences to finally solve.

I would suggest to write "Ziffer" instead of "Finger" in the German description. The Google translator is funny at times.
Btw, I believe the translator of deepl.com is a good bit better.
@Phistomefel: Thank you, I've updated the German with Ziffer. I plugged the English text of this puzzle into DeepL and it lost part of the "or any other snake" emphasis, so I think I'll keep the Google translation on this puzzle, but I will keep DeepL in mind for future puzzles.
