Sandwich Sudoku

A sandwich sudoku was one of the first things that got me watching CTC, which in turn got me into the world of variant sudoku solving and, a while later, setting. Two years and 22 published puzzles later I figured it was about time I set a proper sandwich sudoku myself.
So here it is!

Rules:
Normal sudoku rules apply.
Clues outside the grid indicate the sum of the digits between the 1 and the 9 in the corresponding row or column.
Along the thermometer, the digit in the bulb is smaller than the digit on the tip.

Interesting opening!
I found the final part quite tricky, so four stars difficulty from me. And 'very nice' of course! :)

I've been working through the CTC Sandwich puzzle app and thought I could solve this quicker than my normal time. This puzzle was trickier than I expected. fun puzzle.
