Battle With The Archers 29: Tight Formation
(Published on 12. March 2022, 10:13 by Playmaker6174)
This is the 29th puzzle of my
Battle With The Archers collection and the direct follow-up of the
23rd one in the past.
After an engaging challenge of making
my BYOK puzzle finally work, I wanted to look at a funny looking challenge that Florian Wortmann has stated: make an Archers puzzle without 'touching' the entire perimeter, meaning no clue is 'touching' the row 19 and column 19 region. It really made for another interesting setting experience for me and eventually I came up with this grid as the result, it should lie on the easier and smoother side so I hope you enjoy!
[Another one in the 'syzygy' category, eh]
Rules:
- Normal Sudoku rules apply: every row, column and 3x3 box contains digits from 1 to 9 each once.
- Digits along an arrow must sum to the digit in the circle cell attached to that arrow. Digits along an arrow can repeat if allowed by other rules.
(colors are for the main challenge, it doesn't serve any extra information)

Good luck and have fun solving!
