Easy Peasy

(Published on 5. March 2022, 15:39 by Joseph nehme)

I prepared some easy puzzles after a run of hard ones. Should be interesting and approachable.

Rules:

- Normal Standard Sudoku rules apply.

- Outlined regions are cages. The sum of digits in a cage is given in the top-left and digits cannot repeat.

I think this is truly a piece of art, with very cleverly chosen cagetotals. Very well done!
After filling in nearly all the digits in the cages something remains that I don't call really easy; there was something to puzzle left!
There were days that puzzles like this had at least three, maybe even four stars for difficulty; the collective knowledge on solving puzzles has risen quite a bit over the years!
I fully agree with you and Mad-Tyas that it is much harder to write easier and more approacheable puzzles and this one is an extremely nice and good example! Well done!

@Richard Thank you for your lovely words. :)

Creating easy but interesting puzzles is an art. This puzzle is a perfect example. Very enjoyable. Thank you!

@Mad-Tyas Thabk you. I totally agree. It's sad how some solvers only associate beautiful puzzles with hard difficulty puzzles. In my opinion, creating an easy puzzle that is also interesting is more challenging than creating a hard puzzle.
