Chaos Construction: Sightlines

Rules:
Each row, column, and 9-cell region must contain the digits 1 to 9 once each. The regions must be determined by the solver.
The digit in a cell containing an arrow gives the number of cells in the same region, including itself, visible orthogonally from that cell on the indicated axes. Region boundaries block the view.
Example:
Solve in Penpa+ (Answer check is on digits and edges).

Very pleasant puzzles, probably because the clues are all double-headed arrows and cross arrows, so that each number is limited to a fairly small range. After a complete experience, the difficulty is about 3-3.5.
...But it's also possible...Before I solved this puzzle, I had already been severely tortured by other puzzles with the same rule set and higher difficulty...

A nice variety of region geometry deductions, and a bit more approachable than other puzzles with this ruleset

Very nice ! On the easier side of the CC puzzles that have been set lately. Challenging in the beginning because the break in does not let itself seen that easily in this abundance of clues. Very nice interactions all the way. Thanks.

Wow, that was one of the most fun puzzles that I ever solved here. Thanks a lot! Seemed so hard at the start, but I never got stuck and thus never frustrated. Great setting!
