Chaos Construction:
Place the digits 1-9 into each row, column, and region of the 9x9 grid. The 9 orthogonally contiguous regions must be deduced.
Assembly:
Outside the grid there are puzzle pieces. The pieces must be assembled to cover the entire grid. Clues on the pieces give the values of the cells they cover. Cells under the same piece are within the same region. Pieces cannot be rotated or flipped.
Feedback appreciated. Have fun!

I found this puzzle after stumbling onto Zetamath’s YouTube Channel and skimming through his “favorites of 2022” video. The puzzle pieces caught my eye and I decided to try it. I worked on it all day off and on. At one point I printed it out and cut the pieces out (not recommended). What a puzzle. I cannot believe it has so few solves and ratings. It’s going in my list of favorites.

This went straight into my unusual list as one of the most original and intricate puzzles that I've ever seen.
Lots of unusual thinking throughout the solve that mostly require you to think a few steps ahead but nothing feels unfair imo, instead we have an original and well put logical path that will surely surprise any solver.
(Also, imagine even BEGINNING TO CONSTRUCT this puzzle)
