Spiral series #2 - Entropy Spiral
(Published on 1. March 2022, 07:59 by SimiC)
Puzzle by SimiC and Mad_Tyas
Rules:
- Sudoku: place every digit from 1 to 9 once in every row, column and box
- Entropy: Consider the low digits (1, 2, 3), middle digits (4, 5, 6) and high digits (7, 8, 9) as three different groups. Each 2x2 box in the grid has to contain at least one digit of each group.
- Anti-Entropy: A 2x2 box with a grey diamond in the middle must not fulfill the Entropy rule (i.e. at least one digit group must not appear in that box)
- Spiral: In the blue spiral, the digits 1, 2 and 3 must appear in this order an unknown number of times, so that they form a 123123... chain along the spiral. The digits do not have to be adjacent. The chain must start with a 1 and end with a 3.
The red spiral works the same way, but with digits 7, 8 and 9. The chain must start with a 7 and end with a 9.
The spirals start in box 1 and end in box 5.

Such a clever twist on the entropy variant! Easy to make a wrong assumption on one sentence in the rule-set, as i did, and then re-read the rules more carefully, and then it was lika, ah-ha ! Thanks for the collaborative setting, @ SimiC and Mad-Tyas :-)
- Thank you very much! We tried to write the rules as clearly as possible, but it's easy to forget something.
- Oh, the rules were clear; it was i that made a wrong assumption ! Thanks, again :)
