@RockyRoer, Digit sums mean just ordinary cage totals (which have to be determined).

When you say digit sums, is that just the normal sum of the digits in the cages? So there are only two possible cage totals? My first thought was something very different involving digital roots, and I was about to skip this because I couldn’t think of any possible way in, but if it’s just normal sums, I think it could be doable after all…
