Each digit represents a distinct letter of the alphabet, which can be determined using the cryptic crossword clues below:

  • 6A: Powerless bird upset monster.
  • 7A: Run out - but still gets the Ashes?
  • 8A: Sent away and catches fish.
  • 10A: Realms where Dracula rises without a heart.
  • 2D: Sticky? Use the rinse cycle!
  • 3D: Regularly correct, I have common sense - also foolish.
  • 4D: The bad cruise I left made me swear.
  • 9D: Child turns nose up endlessly.

This was fun (the previous one as well). I wouldn't have expected to be any good at solving cryptic crosswords, but having watched some of the crossword videos on Cracking the Cryptic, I had at least any idea of how the clues work and the interaction with the sudoku part also helps.
