虎 (Tiger) (German whispers + killer sudoku)

The coming year will be the year of the tiger, so I put the character for "tiger", 虎, in the puzzle, together with cages indicating the date, 1st of February 2022.
It should be easy, and fun. :)
Edit: This puzzle was featured on Cracking the Cryptic! :)
RULES:
- Standard sudoku rules apply.
- Killer cage rules apply: The digits in a cage sum to the number in the upper left corner of that cage.
- German whispers rules apply: Neighboring digits along a line has to have a difference of at least 5.

I solved it but got to a completely different solution than featured on CTC. Also in the end there was an ambiguity which already left the solution code ambiguous. That was a bit sad. Other than that I really enjoyed the logic in this puzzle!
