Battle With The Archers - The Lost Puzzle: Partition

(Published on 29. January 2022, 18:05 by Playmaker6174)

After having so much fun with my previous X-sums puzzle, I decided to revisit some of the old puzzles from my Battle With The Archers collection that weren't fully completed or were failed because of how unjustified they were. I took the main idea from one of those failed puzzles then developed an entire new puzzle from it, and the following puzzle here is its final result. I think the opening sequence is really nice too so I hope you enjoy!

Also, Lunar New Year will be coming soon (February 1st), so I wish everyone a prosperous and healthy New Year too :)

Rules:

- Normal Sudoku rules apply: every row, column and 3x3 box contains digits from 1 to 9 each once.

- Digits along an arrow must sum to the digit in the circle cell attached to that arrow. Digits along an arrow can repeat if allowed by other rules.

Second puzzle in just a few days that I trigger the rating of, and two very nice toughies, I'm quite happy with myself (and the setters too of course)!
