Candy Cane Sudoku

I originally published this puzzle at Puzzling Stack Exchange as part of an Advent celebration, but feel it might be of interest here too.
Rules
Normal sudoku rules apply.
Renban rules apply: The renban (purple) lines must contain a set of non-repeating, consecutive numbers, in any order.
German Whispers rules apply: The whisper (green) lines must have successive cells along the line differing by at least 5.
Solution code: Row 9 followed by column 2 (18 digits, left to right, top to bottom, no spaces/commas).
