Really great hybrid puzzle! Very hard but rewarding break-in.

Very cool puzzle. Not as difficult as I was expecting, but maybe I just grasped the break in idea very naturally.

Wow ok, I was a bit worried about this one since I don't have any Fillomino nor Aquarium experience, but this turned out to be much easier than I could have hoped for: once the break-in is fully grasped, everything fills in very quickly. Nice puzzle!

@Silly Goose: I am sorry! I had hoped to indicate well enough what to do next, but I guess one never stops learning. If you agree to share your thoughts in a hidden comment on where the difficulty was, I would be very glad.
@AlienRenders: Thank you for the nice comment! And I agree that the break-in is a lot to uncover.
@estebandlc: Thank you so much for the kind comment and well done solving the puzzle! :)

I never thought I'd be here commenting after solving one of Phistomefel puzzles. Thank you Phistomefel for creating these!, I also do have to thank CtC for allowing me to gather the skills enjoy this master piece. What a journey through the grid flowing down like water, this was just pure beauty.

I've done a lot of these types of puzzles and I liked the positional aspect of this one. Toward the end, I really liked how all the different parts got resolved. That is one truly difficult break-in though... more like a marathon before the main show. lol

This puzzle is so mean. It made me feel so stupid because I solved 95% of it in the first hour and struggled the whole weekend for the last 5%. It's devilishly beautiful in the end.

@bravo-lemur: Thank you! :)
@harrison: I agree that it is easy to draw false conclusions in this puzzle. So, I am all the more happy to read that you enjoyed it in the end.
@zetamath: Oh wow, I just saw that you spent 8 hours on the stream solving my puzzles. Thank you so much for this!
Apart from that, I am really looking forward to a Fillomino variant set by you. :)

This was an amazing puzzle that I did on my stream the other day (thanks so much for permission to do your puzzles, I did 4 of them to celebrate hitting 500 subscribers)! This really inspires me to try to mess around with setting fillomino variants!

First of all, the puzzle is really magnificent! Great job.
No fault of your own, but it is easy to make slightly wrong assumptions. The solver needs to be *very* careful in their logical leaps, but we are justly rewarded in the end!

Loved it! Took about an hour to find the break-in - very clever stuff :)

Thank you for the solve and for the nice comment, colski! Making the placement of the water cell in row 6 difficult was actually part of my plan. ;)
on 20. January 2022, 17:33 by colski
thank you for this properly hard puzzle. I struggled to place the blue in row 6!

Thank you very much for the compliment, Mark! :)

What a wonderfully executed hybrid!

Thank you so much, ProRock! It is quite amazing that this puzzle is second one of mine you were able to solve, since the break-in is one of the most convoluted and complicated ones I've created so far. Well done!

Cool puzzle, i enjoyed it a lot! Got here from CTC channel and i really love your puzzles (despite all of them are so hard for me this is actually the second one i've been able to solve with no hints). Thank you Phistomefel!

@marcmees: Thank you for the kind words and for persevering! :)
@zuzanina: Vielen Dank für die netten Worte! Freut mich, wenn's gefallen hat.

Sehr schön! Und wenn man sich erstmal ein bisschen herangetastet hat, fällt nach und nach alles an seinen Platz! Vielen Dank! :-)

Even with the right idea from the start it remained some job to fit the pieces together. Thanks for this wonderful puzzle experience.

@Magnus: Thank you very much for your nice comment! The possibilities for new logic that this combination allows for is quite interesting and the break-in was the result of a few logical experiments.
@Vebby: Thank you so much for your warm words! I am very glad that you enjoyed the puzzle. :)
@PixelPlucker: Thank you for the solve and the kind comment. :)

That was a real pleasure to figure out - thank you!

Magnificent! Loved this ruleset. Consistently challenging and greatly rewarding to find the logical steps. Thanks Phistomefel! :)

Wonderful puzzle! I really enjoyed the break-in as well, it really required you to some thinking before starting and putting the pieces together one by one to finally break through was very rewarding. Thank you!

@Jesper: Thank you so much! I agree that the break-in is a tough one, yet I had quite a lot of fun constructing it.
@polar: Thank you very much for the kind words! I have the feeling that this puzzle is not well suited for CTC, because most viewers will probably not be very familiar with the two puzzle types.

Being unfamiliar with aquarium puzzles, I found this to be a very tough nut to crack! A tricky puzzle with lots of original & unusual logic to find. Thanks :)
It certainly has my vote for Simon's next live stream!

A very cool combination! The break-in is brilliant, once you grasp it.
