Antimatter

(Published on 14. January 2022, 01:53 by zetamath)

Normal sudoku rules apply.  Normal Odd/Even rules apply. (Circles are odd digits and squares are even digits)

The lines are antimatter lines.  The digits on an antimatter do NOT adhere to any of the following constraints: renban, nabner, whisper, or thermo. Additionally, it must be impossible to form a valid arrow with the digits on an antimatter line, regardless of order. Below is a reminder of what these constraints mean, as well as an example for each.

A renban contains a string of consecutive digits in any order. For example, 534 is a valid renban, and so is not a valid antimatter line.

A nabner line is the opposite of a renban. It contains no pair of digits that are consecutive, regardless of where they appear on the line. 174 is a valid nabner line, and hence is not a valid antimatter line.

A whisper is a string of digits where every pair of adjacent digits differ by at least 5. For example, 271 is a valid whisper line, and hence is not a valid antimatter line.

A thermo is a string of digits which either strictly increase or strictly decrease. Thus 742 is a valid thermo, and hence is not a valid antimatter line. (We are in essence saying that you could not put a bulb at either end and make a valid thermo).

An arrow for purposes of this puzzle is a line where one digit on the line is the sum of the rest of the digits on the line. For example, 495 is a valid arrow, and hence is not a valid antimatter line.

All lines in the puzzle, regardless of color, are antimatter lines.  The coloration is just to help differentiate between distinct lines.

Amazing the way box 4,5 and 6 worked together once you realized where the pressure was. Towards the last 1/3 or so i ended up having to bifurcate a little but otherwise smooth.

It was nice after you wrap around how the lines have to look like, it becomes its own simpler ruleset
