# Triplets

(Published on 31. December 2021, 17:41 by PrimeWeasel)

Normal Sudoku and Killer rules apply.

The final grid will have exactly 9 different diagonals with 3 connected identical digits, so one 111-line, one 222-line, one 333-line etc.

Once I understood the rules (where the triples had to be diagonally adjacent), it was a smooth, enjoyable solve!

Nice puzzle.. IMO this is definitely above 2-star difficulty (3-star is probably fair), if for nothing else, to sort out the triples logic. Nonetheless, it was a satisfying solve with some interesting deductions.

~ I was in a bit of debate with myself when putting it online. I reckoned that some parts of it were certainly 3 star, but overall it was more of a 2 star. In the end, it'll really depend on the solvers, it might become 3, might stay 2, either way, thanks for solving!

Nice one, thanks.

I would add to the instructions that the digits must be consecutive. It took me a bit to realize that; it seemed to hard for 2 stars otherwise.

~Thanks for solving! I've rewritten it as 'connected'
