In December 2021 there was a logic puzzle advent calender on mathebau.rocks, containing variants of standard puzzles. These puzzles are now uploaded to the puzzle portal.
22. Dezember - Pata
Rules: Blacken some cells, such that:
- Cells with numbers stay white
- All black cells are (orthogonally) connected
- There is no black 2x2 area
- Numbers indicate, how big the (orthogonally) connected white blocks in the (up to) eight surrounding cells are: Between two such blocks, there has to be at least one black cell. Position and order of the clue numbers do not matter.
Solution code: Row 5, followed by column 6: S for black, W for white, X for cells with a clue
