In December 2021 there was a logic puzzle advent calender on mathebau.rocks, containing variants of standard puzzles. These puzzles are now uploaded to the puzzle portal.
Rules: Draw a closed loop on the edges in the grid, that doesn't intersect or overlap with itself. Number indicate, how many of the four neighboured grid points ("corners") are visited by the loop.
Solution code: Row 9, followed by column 10: I for a cell in the interior of the loop, A for cells outside of the loop

I made the same mistake that @data did ha. After reading their comment, I went back and read the rules and realized I had mistakenly assumed the rules were different. Got it in the end though, fun puzzle!

You'll find several puzzles with similar rules here under the name "Berührungsrundweg" resp. "touching slitherlink". And several hybrids. If you look into the contest engine, I think there are also several slitherlink variations like these. And in the archive of the LM championships and WPC for sure too.
Esp. some older puzzles by Calavera are recommended.

After a few false starts I almost gave up, but then finally read the rules :-) Great variation, would love to see more of this type.
