In December 2021 there was a logic puzzle advent calender on mathebau.rocks, containing variants of standard puzzles. These puzzles are now uploaded to the puzzle portal.
12. Dezember - Battleships
Rules: Put the 10 given ships in the grid, such that they do not touch each other, not even diagonally. Ship may be rotated. Numbers indicate the amount of ship parts in the corresponding row/column. There is no ship part in the water cell.
There cannot be 2x2 areas completely without ship.
Solution code: Row 6 and column 4: For a ship, the size of the ship; W for water

Amazing puzzle! This variant really pulled me out of my comfort zone at first, but the global logic was very intuitive and fair :)
