Loosing my precision 2 (±2)
(Published on 24. December 2021, 03:32 by ymhsbmbesitwf)
The 2±2th puzzle in the series looks almost like a regular grid... almost :) One grid is not enough to fit all the fun little interactions with XV, in fact i only scratched the surface and skipped one of the main ideas because it turned out to conflict with this grid so i plan to return to the XV variant in one or more future puzzles. Previous fuzzy killer puzzles:
Puzzle available in f-puzzles and Penpa+. Note: f-puzzles software won't be able to reliably check the solution because these are not standard cages, Penpa+ version has a solution check.
Normal sudoku rules
- each box, column and row contains digits 1 to 9 once each
Fuzzy killer rules
- digits cannot repeat within a cage
- number in the top left corner (if given) is the sum of digits in that cage with the first digit as it's precision; for example digits in a cage with given sum 20 (±2) add up to 18, 19, 20, 21 or 22
XV rules
- Digits in cells separated by X sum to exactly 10.
- Digits in cells separated by V sum to exactly 5.
- There is no negative constraint (not all Xs and/or Vs are given).
Solution code: Digits in row 3.
