Fill the grid with digits 1 to 9 so that each digit occurs exactly once in each row, column and 3x3 box. The clues outside the grid indicate the sum of the first X digits placed in the corresponding direction, where X is equal to the first digit placed in that direction.
In these clues, even digits have been replaced by E, odd digits have been replaced by O. (Zero is even. Multi-digit clues may not start with zero.)

I agree that it is quite a bit harder, somehow setting that also took 10 times as long as the "Even" one and at the end I was happy to find a resolution at all.
