Find the Direction (Sudoku9)

(Published on 12. December 2021, 11:41 by Sumanta(ANU))

I made this puzzle 2 years back, but did not able to publish for some reasons. Hope you will like this.
Normal Sudoku Rules Apply.

A number inside the grid is the sum of the digits along one of the four orthogonal direction from and including the given cell. (eg, the number 6 in box 1 can be the sum of the digits R3C3,R2C3,R1C3 or R3C1,R3C2,R3C3. Other two orthogonal directions are not possible due to higher numbers of cells)

The clues outside the grid are the Sums of the digits along each of the indicated diagonals. Digits can repeat along these diagonals if allowed by other Sudoku rules.

Interesting idea for a puzzle. I had a lot of fun with this one. I'd put it between 3 and 4 for difficulty - I lost a bunch of time thinking about it the wrong way early.

Thanks DiMono for the feedback and solve. :). I am happy to know that you enjoyed solving the puzzle.

Exactly 3 stars (between 2.9 and 3.0) difficulty for me.

Changed the difficulty rating to 4. My guess is that the puzzle difficulty is in between 3 or 4. Your comments are welcome.
