159 German Whispers Sudoku

Inspiration struck when I witnessed Rangsk solve Andrewsarchus's 9erman wh15pers puzzle during a live stream on his YouTube channel last week.
- Normal sudoku rules apply: Each row, column, and region indicated by thick borders in the grid must contain the digits 1 to 9 once each.
- 159: Digits in column 1 indicate the column in which the digit 1 appears in that row (e.g. if r4c1 is a 6, r4c6 is a 1). The same is true of column 5 and the digit 5, and column 9 and the digit 9.
- German whispers: Adjacent digits along a green line must have a difference of 5 or more. Digits on these lines may repeat if allowed by other rules.

Solution code: Rows 5 and 8. I.e. the 9 digits in row 5 from left to right, followed by the 9 digits in row 8 from left to right, for example: 123456789123456789

Very nice opening sequence with great interactions. Middle game tricked me a little but a very enjoyable solve nonetheless. Thanks.

This was though for me, but very nice. Had to reset a couple of times until I got the initial logic, and after that I got stuck in the middle so I bifurcated a little - but it got me to an invalid point so at least I saw what was the logic missing that led me to the bifurcation in the first place, after that was a smooth path to the end. Thank you for making this!

I needed to bifurcate. I couldn't prove that there was only one solution but I did notice certain relationships between German Whispers and 159

Very delicate puzzle with wonderful interactions throughout the solve! I love how the logics work in the first half, then it keeps being beautiful afterwards :)
