This is a normal killer sudoku with a tiny thermometer - so tiny that I replaced it with a v sign in the version below.

If you struggle with the break in, there is an encrypted hint below the puzzle. I find it very difficult to estimate the difficulty of my own puzzles - but my guess is: with hint 3 stars, without 4.

• Normal sudoku rules apply (in each row, column and box of the grid every number from 1 to 9 appears exactly once).
• Normal killer sudoku rules apply (Digits in cages sum to the clue in the top left corner of the cage).
• The v sign points to the lower digit.
