Indexed N-Sums Sudoku
(Published on 22. October 2021, 15:56 by SenatorGronk)
Rules
- Standard sudoku rules apply
- Clues on the outside of the grid equal the sum of the first N digits in the row/column.
- To find N, take the value of the first cell in the row/column -- let's call it X.
- The value of N for that row/col is the value of the Xth cell in Column 1/Row 1.
The image below shows how the clues work.
For example, R4C1 is an 8, so we look in the 8th cell of Column 1 to see how many of the leftmost cells in Row 4 sum to the given clue.

Changing name from Indexed X-Sums to Indexed N-Sums after learning that X-Sums has a more specific meaning and that this puzzle is part of a broader set of "N-Sum" puzzles.
