Consecutive Sums Sudoku

(Published on 21. October 2021, 22:15 by SudokuExplorer)

Normal sudoku rules apply.
Each row, column and 3x3 box contain the digits 1 to 9.

A clue on the left/top gives the sum of the digits in cells in the corresponding row/column with a consecutive digit in an adjacent cell in that row/column.
For example, the row 231876495 has consecutive sum 2+3+8+7+6=26.

You can try this on Penpa+ or F-Puzzles. Enjoy!

Solution code: Enter the 5th row and 4th column

Thanks a lot for this puzzle, that contains fresh new logic steps. I took some think-time before the first digits were placed and there came some flow in the solve.

It is impressive that this solves, as the clues seem to reveal so little at first glance, and the solving path is a very nice one. Thank you for inventing the ruleset and constructing this little beauty, SudokuExplorer!

Wow wow, very clever construction, the works on the combination of the clues are really wonderful and lovely, really worth my efforts :) (even though I'd consider this one as 4/5 for me)

Added "NEU" label, since it's probably a new ruleset.

@Storm: Thanks for the lovely feedback! I'm really glad you had an enjoyable solve :-)

@Bobby: I'm really pleased you liked this variant! I was initially thinking of also including the black dot relation, but that would have complicated things. Hopefully the logic was approachable here :-)
