Tricky. Some really nice deductions to be had here, that require thinking about everything you know about the cages. Very fun puzzle.

I have constructed a puzzle with this rule set a few days ago. Then, before posting the puzzle I wanted to search whether this rule set has ever been used before or not, and I found this puzzle. This puzzle is brilliantly constructed with a clever break-in. The rule set is very well executed. My puzzle makes use of some similar ideas but it is different in many senses than this one. I will post it in a few days. Thank you for this great puzzle!

Reply: Awesome, thanks kolot. I will definitely give yours a try.
Also: Since posting this I have learned that this variant is called Equal Sudoku.

Reply: Oh, I didn’t know that. I searched “Equal Sudoku” in google and saw that Simon has actually featured a puzzle with this rule set on CTC. (There are 5 puzzles called Equal Sudoku with this rule set in this website.)

Reply: The ones on LMD are mostly from Richard Stolk and they are fantastic. FYI I set a second Equal Sudoku called Ex Nihilo, but I think this one is better. By the way hit me up on CTC Discord, I am zegres on there too.

Reply: That’s nice. I was planning to post my puzzle on Monday. So, I will wait two more days.

What a beautiful puzzle! Very nice break-in and a strictly logical solving path. What more could one want? Thx:)

Thanks for the solve and the comment Knitabit.
I loved this break in so much that I took a while to build a puzzle that matched it's quality.
