This puzzle is the final boss of the Cavern Crawl series. I am skeptical that this puzzle is a full 5 stars for difficulty, but I have rounded up to be safe.
Rules:
Normal Sudoku: place the digits 1 to 9 in every row, column, and 3x3 box.
Even Squares: cells with gray squares must contain even digits.
Difference of 4 or Less Cage: within the large cage, any two horizontally or vertically adjacent digits must have a difference of 4 or less.
Perfect Square Cage Sum: the sum of all digits within the cage must be a perfect square (1, 4, 9, 16, 25, etc.). Small spoiler/note: determining the cage sum will be one of the easiest parts of the solve, and is not a main focus of the puzzle. Do not let this rule intimidate you.

Break-in was tricky, but in the end only 3 stars difficulty for me.
