Normal Sudoku rules apply. Digits along the diagonals indicated by the arrows outside the grid must sum to the given totals. Each of these diagonals is also an antidiagonal - that is, it contains the minimum number of distinct digits allowed by Sudoku rules. (The 5-cell diagonals must contain exactly 2 distinct digits; the 9-cell diagonals must contain exactly 3 distinct digits.) The inequality signs must point to the smaller of the two adjacent digits.

Bit of a tricky variant this time, so I have also included a 6x6 puzzle in case you want a warm-up.

Normal 6x6 Sudoku rules apply. Digits along diagonals indicated by arrows outside the grid must sum to the indicated totals. Each of the marked diagonals must also contain the minimum number of distinct digits allowed (which will be exactly 2 in all cases).

The break-in logic was pretty smooth and easy to spot. I would put this at the easier end of 3 stars, definitely not 4. Hardest part was that y-wing at the end.
