The usual Sudoku rules apply, i.e., in each row, column, and 3x3 box there must be exactly one each of the digits 1-9.
Killer cages: Digits in a cage cannot repeat, and must sum to the total indicated in the top left corner of the cage.
German whispers: Digits on a pale green line must exhibit a difference of at least 5 from their neighbors along the line.
Solution code: Row 7, then row 8 (18 digits total)

Great puzzle! For me it felt like an incremental solve with scattered bursts of sharp, narrow logic. Rewarding of careful study.
