Normal Sudoku rules apply. No digit may repeat in a row, column, or 3x3 box.
Clues along the edge are either Parity Party or X-Sum clues, but not both. Also, where two clues see one another along the same row or column (i.e., row 2, row 8, or column 5), they must be of differing types.
X-Sum: the clue shows the sum of the first X digits, where X is the first seen digit.
Parity Party: clue shows the sum of all digits up to and including the first odd or the first even digit. A one-digit clue could just be the value of the first seen digit, though that is not relevant to this puzzle.
Example: 4267 would not be a permissible fulfillment of a 19-clue, since it is both a valid X-sum and a valid Parity Party sequence.
Solution code: Column 4, then column 6 (18 digits total).

Thanks to PixielPlucker, marcmees, Statistica, and Jesper for your kind comments! I have been trying for many months to do a 'sequel' to Parity Party VII, but this one is far more reasonable with respect to difficulty.

What a puzzle! This might be my new series favourite. Tough as nails and gloriously intricate. This is any arithmetician's dream!
