Setter's Diary:
I am extremely happy that the new lockout lines puzzles have garnered it's rightful attention. I am happy that I could contribute something for this phenomenon. The following puzzle is one of the original lockout puzzles showcasing the interactions between Killer and Lockout lines. Hope you guys like it. Special thanks to Tallcat and Riffclown for the new variant.
Locked and Caged
Rules:
Normal classic rules apply.
Lockout Lines Rules Apply: Light blue lines are lockout lines. The endpoints of each line (marked with diamonds) must have a difference of at least 4, and the digits on the line may not be between or equal to the endpoints.
Normal Killer rules apply: The digits in the cage sum to the given total. No digit is repeated in the cage
