DiaBan Lines (Sudoku)

Normal sudoku rules apply. Digits on a purple renban line must be consecutive, but can be in any order. Digits may not repeat on a renban line. Digits on a thermometer must strictly increase from the bulb end. Digits must not repeat on the main diagonals. For clarity, there is a 7-cell, "V" shaped renban line with ends at R2C2 and R2C8, and point at R5C5. As always, comments welcome!
I'm happy to report BremSter solved this puzzle!
Solution code: First row of puzzle, and fourth column of puzzle (read top to bottom). Enter as a string of 18 digits, no spaces.

Beautiful. Took about 16 min. Took me a minute to see the break-in then got moving. The logic on the upper and lower renbans was phenomenal. Thank you.

Tricky in spots, but in a good way. Rewarding logic throughout - you feel proud of yourself several times when you see the logic. Very well done.
Edit: What a lovely comment. Yes - I really like that feeling when I've struggled for a bit, and then I see a bit of logic. Thanks for giving it a go!
