Simon's nightmare
(Published on 4. September 2021, 00:55 by rmahus)
The tale
He wakes up trapped in the corner of a Sudoku grid.
He looks around and finds a door made of arrows.
The diagonal arrow should help force the door.
The little arrow will help later.
But the rest is empty.
A constraint must be missing.
Then the horror. Disjoint groups !!!!!!
If he doesn't find every interaction, he will never escape.
Will you help him ???
The rules
Normal sudoku rules apply.
Every row, column, and 3x3 box must contain all digits from 1 to 9.
Arrow rule applies.
Digits along an arrow must sum to the digit in that arrow's circle and may repeat if the other rules allow.
Disjoint groups rule applies.
Identical digits cannot occupy the same position in two different 3x3 boxes.
(eg R1C2 and R4C5 have to be different)
