Normal sudoku rules apply.
Mod sandwiches: Clues outside the grid give the sum of the digits which lie between the 1 and 9 (the "crusts") in their respective row or column, modulo the length of the sandwich (including the crust cells). For example, the row 2(1)645(9)783 would have a clue of 0, because the sandwich is length 5 and the sum is 15 (and 15 mod 5 = 0).
Each row or column which has been assigned a clue has a different sandwich sum.
For the indicated diagonal, the clue outside the grid is the sum of crust cells only along that diagonal, mod the length of the diagonal.

Very lovely.
Havent done Sudoku in some time so it took me a while to get the first digit. Loved the way it was set up.

Fairly easy start, then it pretty much turned into a math class and I got punished for a while for forgetting one of the rules x)

Very nice variant! If somebody else out there doesn’t know the term "modulo", I can suggest asking google. I was relieved to discover that I knew of the concept, and that it was a very simple one! :-)
