Penpa+ link with solution check (using Surface for shading and Composite/Object/StarBattle)

Example (with 1 star per axis):
Solution code: Along lines A and B: for each continuous set of shaded cells, put the length of the set. For a star, put *.
In the above example, the solution code is 3*1211*.

Very good idea and I'm really looking forward to solving the other two of this kind! Have you tried to create one on a square grid? I'm not sure if that might be more or less interesting than a hex grid.
