Background:
As a fan of "Cracking the Cryptic", I created this puzzle because I was inspired by Simon's meme of "That's 3 in the corner, that's 3 in the spotlight, losing it's religion." Which is a reference to the R.E.M. song "Losing My Religion". As such there are the following Easter eggs...
Easter eggs (Highlight to reveal them):
- There is a single given digit of 3 in the corner ("That's 3 in the corner")
- There is a 3 made of lines in a yellow highlighted "spotlight". ("That's 3 in the spotlight")
- The box totals of 18, 5, and 13 spell out R E M, as R is the 18th letter, E is the 5th letter, and M is the 13th letter.
Solution code: First and last row
