Normal sudoku rules apply. Digits in the cells with green squares form a complete set from 1-9. Digits in the cells with pink squares form another set 1-9. Digits in the cells with violet squares form a third set 1-9. Digits along the palindrome lines must read the same forward and backwards. Digits in a cage must sum to the little number in the upper left, and may not repeat in the cage. Numbers outside the grid indicate the sum of the digits on their indicated diagonal. Digits on these diagonals may repeat when otherwise allowed. As always, comments welcome!
Solution code: First row of puzzle, and fourth column of puzzle (read top to bottom). Enter as a string of 18 digits, no spaces.

Really like the extra regions constraint. Lead to some fun logic! Would love to see where you take it.
Edit: If you mean what I think you do, have a look at my puzzle list. There are a couple with the word region in the title, and Are Circle and Square Pal? also has this constraint. Enjoy!
