like Simon would say - I should have spotted this instantly - but well, I didn't. after getting the main idea, it was actually quite easy to finish. hopefully this makes me a better solver in the future (I hope).

As you said, the puzzle collapses easily after the break-in. You may try my other puzzle Arrows and Dots. It is similar to this one but a little bit more involved.

This definitely felt very smooth coming from the previous puzzle. I think this one probably anyway was slightly less hard, though! Great puzzle!
—————
You are right. I think this is easier than the other one.

I can btw only imagine that some people must have bifurcated the other one and thus given it a low rating. I personally think it deserves an even higher approval rating than this one! :-)

I agree with you. The logic used in the solution path of the other puzzle is much nicer than this one. After constructing these two puzzles I thought the Arrows and Dots puzzle is better than this one, and I sent that one to CTC. I don’t know if it will appear there or not. Also, after I have seen that this puzzle got a rating around 95%, I expected the other one to get a better rating. I was surprised to see that it got 88% rating, at least for now.

Very elegant! I agree with what you said about difficulty, but it felt fair and it was telegraphed clearly. Thanks much!

Thanks for the comment! :)

The break-in was - at least for me - quite complicated, and the main part of it wasn't even where I thought it'd be.
