- Normal Sudoku rules apply.
- There are 8 given lines on the grid. Every single line must satisfy EXACTLY 2 of the following 8 constraints:
- Arrow
- Between Line
- German Whispers
- Kreska Line
- Lockout Line
- Palindrome
- Renban
- Thermometer
- Every single constraint will be used exactly twice.
Puzzle Links: Solve in either F-puzzles, or solve it in CTC Software. Or you can solve it in Penpa+ with answer check for the filled Sudoku grid.
Detailed constraint explanations:
Arrow: One end of an Arrow line must be the sum of all the other cells along the line.
Between Line: Cells along a between line's two endpoints must have values between the two endpoint values.
German Whispers: Adjacent digits along a German Whispers line must differ by at least 5.
Kreska Line: Adjacent digits along a Kreska line must either be consecutive, or have a ratio of 1:2. Digits along a Kreska line cannot repeat.
Lockout Line: The endpoints of a Lockout Line must differ by at least 4. Digits on the line must be different than the endpoint values and must not fall between them.
Renban: A Renban line contains a set of consecutive, non-repeating digits in any order.
Palindrome: Digits along a palindrome line read the same forwards and backwards.
Thermometer: Digits along a thermometer must increase starting from the bulb end.
Solution code: First Row 9, then Column 5 (No commas or spaces, 18 digits)

My first 5-star puzzle to solve! It is also the 1000th puzzle I solved on LMD! congratulate!
I spent a lot of time intermittently solving this puzzle within a week. At first, I didn't find any problems in the derivation, but in the end, I kept making mistakes. Then, I couldn't figure out where the mistake was, so I started over several times before finally discovering the wrong place (I accidentally deleted an extra pencilmark.), and finally successfully solved it.
very nice puzzle!
~ Congratulations on 1000 puzzles! I am also honored that you chose this puzzle to be your 1000th solve, thank you so much!

Very clever and unique puzzle! I liked like out of nowhere, it suddenly became clear how the constraints paired together. And these given 4s were absolutely magical.

this was again super fun, and very impressively constructed too! possibly the trird best sudoku I was able to solve so far.
~ I am glad you enjoyed! There is a reason why this puzzle is in my opinion my best creation ;)

Since this is my favorite puzzle on the site and I published it a year ago with no good HTML knowledge, decided to give the puzzle page a revamp, added CTC and Penpa links, and updated image and rule formatting.

Lovely puzzle! This was a real challenge even having set two similar puzzles. Very nice logic throughout the solution path.

Very cool and fun puzzle, it's crazy to think how much restriction could be done during some steps. I think this one should get more attention :)

An unbelievable puzzle! I've learned a lot about the involved line types and their structural relationships. Great work of yours to discover all that and set a puzzle with it. Thx:)
~ Ty so much for the kind words! And yes, the setting process for this puzzle was basically a constraint learning tutorial for me and finding a way to line the logic in a pleasant way :D
