Rules:
1. Standard: Normal sudoku rules apply.
2. Standard killer: Cells in cages must sum to the clue in the top left corner of the cage.
3. Standard arrow: Cells along an arrow must sum to the total in the arrow's circle.
4. Standard little killer: Cells along indicated diagonals must sum to the total given.
5. Standard Sudoku X: Both main diagonals must include all digits from 1 to 9.
6. Standard sandwich: Cells between 1 and 9 must sum to the clue for the indicated column.
7. Standard thermometer: Cells along a thermometer must increase from bulb end.

Nice puzzle. Lot of things going on from the start. Which does not quite resolve until you find the key - and then it all collapses. Nice setup.

Besides the graphical appearance, what you described is the other reason why this is called *Vault"...
