Quilting

(Published on 10. August 2021, 18:04 by grkles)

Sudoku: Normal sudoku rules apply within and among boxes, as if the boxes formed a typical 9x9 sudoku grid.

Thermometers: Digits along thermometers must increase from bulb to tip; thermometer cells outside of the boxes need not follow the rules of sudoku, but they must respect the thermometer relationship.

Even Square: The cell marked with a grey square must contain an even digit.

Play on penpa+. (Note that answer check is technically active, but I'm not sure it's actually working...)

Play on the CTC app! (Note: Here, the 9 boxes have been shaded yellow to differentiate them from the interstitial space.)

Solution code: Box 3 and then box 9 (top-down, left-right). 18 digits, no spaces.

Really fun puzzle and a great idea for a thermo variant!

I was a little confused when entering the solution. It's left-to-right, top-to-bottom.

An excellent puzzle! I kept forgetting to to scan only the boxes and not the outside thermos, to my continual chagrin :') Well set!
