Broken Bow (Disjoint Arrow)

(Published on 2. August 2021, 21:46 by tallcat)

I was inspired to set this puzzle after solving Tyrgannus' "Quadiagonal" (you can find that here). I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. Hope you enjoy!

Normal Sudoku rules apply

Arrow Sudoku: Digits on arrows must sum to the digit in the circle. Digits may repeat if allowed by other rules.

Disjoint Groups: Digits must not repeat at corresponding box positions. i.e. R1C1 cannot appear in R4C4, R7C7 etc.

Can be played online at either f-puzzles or sudokulab

Solution code: Row 2 (left to right) and column 5 (top to bottom). 18 digits, no spaces

Lovely break-in with interesting deductions throughout the solve, some points was challenging but the reward was worth the effort :)

Removed arrows tag. Thanks SudokuExplorer for the heads up!

I really liked the break-in and the interactions later on, thanks! :-)

Btw you have accidently added the tag to the Arrows puzzle type: http://wiki.logic-masters.de/index.php?title=Arrows/en
Any written tag without brackets is for a puzzle type, and the only puzzle type here is a sudoku.
