X-Sums Sudoku (WPF Sudoku GP 2021 Practice)

Next weekend the last round of the WPF Sudoku Grand Prix 2021 takes place, this time with puzzles provided by Silke Berendes, Jonas Gleim and me. Here is a training puzzle.
Fill the grid with digits 1 to 9 so that each digit occurs exactly once in each row, column and 3x3 box. The clues outside the grid indicate the sum of the first X digits placed in the corresponding direction, where X is equal to the first digit placed in that direction.
