Battle With The Archers 7: Lucky Slash

(Published on 12. July 2021, 14:08 by Playmaker6174)

Let the clash begins...

This is the 7th puzzle of my Battle With The Archers collection, I had a great time finding the idea for setting this one and the logical path was pretty intriguing as well.

Compared to previous puzzles, this one is less mind-bending and still has something sweet to enjoy. It's hard to consider the best difficulty option for this one, I think it's more or less 3.5 stars but let me know if the difficulty should be 4 stars.

Also check out the previous puzzles from the collection and I'm sure you'll have good times :}

Rules: Normal Sudoku rules apply and digits along the marked main diagonals mustn't repeat. Digits along an arrow must sum to the digit in the circle cell attached to that arrow.

To clarify a bit more, two arrows from r1c4 and r2c4 have r2c5 as a common cell and the arrows act as: r1c4=r2c5+r1c6, r2c4=r2c5+r2c6.

7 down 33 to go. Easier than the previous ones but nicely put together.

Beautiful ! The break-in is smooth but really satisfying, and the second part is in my opinion a bit harder, but also very cool. The symmetry and the diagonals work wonders. Great puzzle, thanks a lot !

I would definitely say this is easier than some of the prior puzzles in the series but certainly no less fun! I enjoyed it a lot.

Great puzzle! I am a bit unsure about the difficulty. I made a very similar construction myself a couple of months ago, which probably helped me a lot here. I still had to do a lot of thinking, and it definitely was quite challenging, yet very nice and rewarding. :-)

I really appreciate your wonderful feedback! Yeah I actually attempted to make this one less tricky than others, not too challenging but not easy either. Still I liked to leave something as a really good treat, and it did work out very well :)
